Patalpani Waterfall, Mhow, Madhya Pradesh

The Patalpani Waterfall is located in Mhow, Madhya Pradesh. The area around Patalpani is a popular picnic and trekking spot. According to folklore, the pit (kund) at the bottom of the falls goes as deep as patal. Therefore, the falls are called Patal-pani.
Being a seasonal waterfall, it gives serious surprise of water in rainy season which accounts to be a major cause of accidents. As located in down-flow, in monsoon season, due to rainfall in nearby areas, water flow is on rise, giving no time for rescue so it is suggested to view the fall from distance. This place is good for adventure lovers as it gives some scope to adventure activities.

Patalpani is a waterfall so during its visit one can enjoy the scenic surrounding nature and can spend quality time close to nature in peaceful atmosphere. Best time to visit Patalpani fall is from July to October month i.e. in monsoon season. It is the best time to view the water flow intensity and for photography.

Mata Vaishno Devi temple is situated in Trikuta hills of  Himalaya in Jammu & Kashmir. The nearest town in the foot hills is Katra and fall under the Reasi district of Jammu and  Kashmir  State. The holy temple of Mata Vaishno Devi is situated approximate 10 kms from the Bus Stand / Railway Station of Katra.
